WORKING IN A HEALTHCARE SETTING

REPORTS TO: Housekeeping/Maintenance Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW: Ensuring that the premises of a healthcare facility are maintained in a pristine, organized, and welcoming manner is essential for fostering an environment conducive to patient care and staff efficiency. Housekeepers are tasked with a variety of responsibilities including dusting, sanitizing surfaces and equipment, mopping floors, managing waste disposal, rearranging furniture, and other related activities.

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:
  • Position: Full-time, comprising five 8-hour shifts weekly, primarily scheduled from Monday to Friday with one weekend day per month. Shift hours: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
License/Registration/Certification:
  • N/A
Experience:
  • Experience in hospital housekeeping is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
