Senior Care Coordinator

Salary: $24.15 – $33.60 per hour (DOE) / Additional Differentials Must Qualify
Position Type: Full-Time / 40 hours per week / Non-Exempt
Available Shift: 11 AM - 7 PM
Additional pay differentials may apply based on program qualifications, shift, testing, or verification.
Language Proficiency Incentives:
- Bi-cultural Spanish: +$1.00 per hour
- Bimodal Bilingualism (ASL): +$2.00 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting children and being part of a collaborative team that creatively addresses the needs of complex youth in our community? Redwood Community Services is looking for an experienced Care Manager or Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to deliver individualized rehabilitation services in Mendocino County. This role involves managing a full caseload of clients and ensuring compliance with Medi-Cal documentation requirements.
In this position, you will assist in providing self-care and behavioral training tailored to the unique needs of each child and youth. Under the guidance of a Licensed Clinician, you will be responsible for planning and executing one-on-one therapeutic interactions with community-based children referred by various counties. As a vital member of the child's treatment team, you will collaborate with family and community stakeholders to effectively support clients in achieving their behavioral goals.
Qualifications for Care Manager/Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist:
- Care Manager III: Minimum of four (4) years of full-time experience in a mental health-related field providing direct services. Up to two (2) years of experience may be substituted with relevant education.
- Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist I: Associate degree plus six (6) years of experience with at-risk clients in a mental health setting.
- Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist II: Bachelor's degree plus four (4) years of experience with at-risk clients in a mental health setting.
- Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist III: Master's degree plus two (2) years of experience with at-risk clients in a mental health setting.
- Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist IV & V: Must meet the requirements of MHRS I, II, or III, along with additional qualifications as outlined in the job scope.
Employment Conditions: This position may involve working across various agency programs as needed, with occasional flexible scheduling to meet client needs.
Required Certifications:
- California Driver's License
- Current Auto Insurance
- Clean DMV Printout (no more than 3 points on driving record)
- Clear background check with DOJ, CACI, FBI
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- TB Exam and Physical upon employment
Training:
- RCS provides comprehensive onboarding and training, including CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
