As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our acute care medical center. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform procedures that require specialized training and provide functional direction to ancillary personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide care for assigned patients, adhering to established standards and nursing process.
- Perform admission assessments and ongoing re-assessments, assisting in the development of a prioritized interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Implement and coordinate plan of care, utilizing appropriate organizational skills and reporting mechanisms.
- Administer medications and perform assigned clinical procedures, such as phlebotomy and injections.
- Order and restock supplies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Arrhythmia certification (preferred).
