Job Title: Business Operations Support Specialist
Location:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shared services and operations, with experience working in a fast-paced environment. The role involves supporting business operations, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and Document Processing: Accurately log and process checks, handle inbound and outbound communication related to check processing, and manage documents efficiently within operational systems.
- CLEAR Queue Management: Monitor, manage, and resolve items within the CLEAR queue, ensuring timely processing of all assigned tasks.
- Insurance Carrier Communication: Place outbound calls to insurance carriers and respond to inbound calls to resolve issues, obtain information, and ensure compliance with client policies.
- Research and Issue Resolution: Research items received via faxes, reports, correspondence, and checks, resolving issues by contacting relevant parties, ensuring compliance with client and company standards.
- Client and System Compliance: Follow client-specific policies and procedures for all tasks, working within client and company proprietary applications to ensure accurate data management.
- Collaboration and Support: Provide assistance and back-up support to team members to meet client requirements and SLAs, collaborating effectively with colleagues across teams.
- Quality and Performance: Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines, demonstrating quality performance and adhering to key behavioral expectations such as attendance, teamwork, and organizational contributions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Typically requires 1–2 years of experience in a shared services, operations, or customer service role, with experience with insurance processes being a plus.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work within proprietary software and systems, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service and problem resolution, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Behavioral Expectations: Positive attitude and collaborative team spirit, dependability and consistent attendance, ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
