Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Paramedic/EMT-P to provide medical support services to our clients in Vancouver, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing donor eligibility, conducting medical history interviews, and performing physical examinations.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess donor eligibility and manage informed consent
  • Provide AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion
  • Conduct medical history interviews and acceptance checks
  • Perform physical examinations and blood testing
  • Review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results
  • Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies
  • Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues
  • Champion vaccination programs for employees
  • Master the art of incident management
Requirements:
  • WA Paramedic/EMT-P license (or in process of getting it)
  • BLS certification
  • Preferred qualifications: plasma knowledge, venipuncture skills, and bilingual
