Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Paramedic/EMT-P to provide medical support services to our clients in Vancouver, WA. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing donor eligibility, conducting medical history interviews, and performing physical examinations.
Responsibilities:- Assess donor eligibility and manage informed consent
- Provide AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion
- Conduct medical history interviews and acceptance checks
- Perform physical examinations and blood testing
- Review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results
- Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies
- Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues
- Champion vaccination programs for employees
- Master the art of incident management
- WA Paramedic/EMT-P license (or in process of getting it)
- BLS certification
- Preferred qualifications: plasma knowledge, venipuncture skills, and bilingual
- Health plans
