Senior Vice President of Information Technology

About the Role

As a pivotal member of the Group Information Services (GIS) leadership team, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with Group Tech Sourcing (GTS) on a global scale, as well as with Regional and Country unit leaders in North America. Your focus will be on understanding their requirements and guiding both local and central teams to deliver the essential GIS products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide services that align with company objectives and reflect our core values of collaboration and success.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for GIS at the regional level and GTS globally, fostering strong partnerships with the business.
  • Engage with the Technology Office to spearhead innovation throughout the region and implement successful initiatives across the broader organization.
  • Establish the vision and enterprise architecture for North America and Group TS, ensuring alignment with the overarching Group strategy.
  • Develop and prioritize a strategic investment roadmap that balances the needs of the Group with regional, country, and GTS requirements, ensuring comprehensive business cases are established.
  • Act as the GIS Project Sponsor, working closely with central and local Delivery teams to ensure the successful launch of new capabilities, capturing requirements, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle from design to implementation.
  • Lead the formation of product teams responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of products, from strategy through development to operational support, utilizing industry best practices.
  • Identify and create opportunities for the development of platforms that can be utilized across the organization, driving their adoption and ensuring robust support and security.
  • Collaborate with Operations & Infrastructure to guarantee that live services meet performance specifications, maintaining resilience and security in accordance with agreed service levels.
  • Partner with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and cybersecurity teams to ensure that the cybersecurity strategy effectively addresses the needs of our regional and GTS operations, delivering programs on time and within budget while enhancing security maturity.
  • Work with the Office of the CIO to manage expenditures, resources, risks, and procurement in alignment with our strategic forecasts and budgetary commitments.
  • Contribute actively as a member of the GIS leadership team, promoting collaboration, sharing insights, and adopting best practices across GIS and the organization.
