About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Node JS Software Engineer to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of enterprise-wide applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions using Node JS and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers, business analysts, architects, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
  • Participate in the entire development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the successful deployment of software solutions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 1+ years of Node JS development experience with either TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • 1+ year of experience working in an Agile-based development environment using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Strong experience with monitoring and observability and building scalable services.
  • 1 year of experience with various database solutions (SQL or NoSQL).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing GraphQL APIs.
  • Exposure to product/services development, cloud-based platforms (i.e. Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.
