About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as a Senior Director, Digital Transformation. This is a unique opportunity to drive a major transformation by helping us to reengineer our Business Process Management (BPM) platform, which is core to our business.

The Team

You will be part of our Workflow & Controls team, which is responsible for building a BPM platform that is essential to our business. Our team is passionate about delivering high-quality software and is committed to driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of our work.

The Impact

As a Senior Director, Digital Transformation, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business by leading the development of a unified BPM platform. This platform will enable our business to realize business values quickly by enabling teams to frequently deploy small independent units of business capabilities using mature DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a unified BPM platform that is scalable, maintainable, and loosely coupled.
  • Drive innovation and excellence in all aspects of our work, including application design and architecture, database proficiency, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the BPM platform meets the needs of our business.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for the BPM platform that aligns with our business goals and objectives.
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers and developers to deliver high-quality software.
  • Ensure that the BPM platform is secure, reliable, and meets all relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in developing distributed systems, with a strong technical ability and great communication skills.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to dive deep and remain in touch with business details, drive innovation in the teams, invoke passion in others, think big, and deliver results.
  • Strong understanding of application design and architecture, database proficiency, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Java 7 (or above) / J2EE for product development, Spring/Restful Web Services, and Web Technologies.
  • Practical experience with Messaging Frameworks, Cloud Infrastructure, and Architectural Principles.
  • Ability to translate business problems and requirements into solutions, and knowledge of performance, scalability, and non-functional requirements.
  • Proactive and creative in addressing business requirements, and ability to handle dependencies and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with testing and build tools, such as JUnit test cases and Webpack.
