About United Homecare Services

United Homecare Services, a local non-profit in-home care agency, seeks a compassionate care associate for our Beaverton office. This position requires at least 1 year of management experience in healthcare or social services, preferably working with the elder population.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for caregiving, and be highly organized. Compassion for seniors and family caregivers is essential. As a member of our dynamic work team, you will work under the guidance of the care coordinator for the Beaverton office.

This part-time opportunity offers flexibility with a 20-hour workweek, Monday-Friday from 10am to 2pm. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professional communication via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Answer phones and provide requested information in a timely manner
  • Receive client inquiries, provide in-home consultations, and introduce caregivers to clients
  • Assign caregivers to clients, ensuring a suitable match between caregiver skills and client needs
  • Evaluate client service plans and update as needed
  • Be available by phone 24/7 while on-call and perform duties in emergency situations with short notice
  • Travel within our 60-mile service area to perform duties (additional mileage paid)
  • Maintain accurate records, including electronic data, client files, and employee files
  • Perform other office duties as needed
