Pharmacist Specialist

As a Specialist-Pharmacist at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes by providing comprehensive clinical services. Your expertise will ensure optimal medication use and effective resource management, while considering pharmacoeconomic principles across the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your pharmacy practice effectively, contributing to goals, programs, and report cards for your unit/department/hospital.
- Participate in pharmacotherapeutic plan processes and actively engage on inter and intra-departmental committees.
- Supervise and direct healthcare team members, providing education and drug information.
- Manage medication orders, including age-specific considerations, to ensure medication safety.
- Process and prepare sterile products for dispensing.
Requirements:
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.).
- Preferred: Post-graduate education in health-system pharmacy services.
