Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geoscientist to contribute to our mission of delivering innovative solutions for environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation. In this role, you will engage in a variety of geological and environmental tasks, with a significant emphasis on fieldwork and travel to various project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a range of field and office activities applying geological and environmental science principles.
  • Perform environmental sampling including soil, surface water, groundwater, and sediment.
  • Oversee soil classification and sampling during drilling and excavation processes.
  • Assist in managing drillers and subcontractors on-site.
  • Prioritize health and safety while executing field projects.
  • Document field activities through reports, notes, and sampling records.
  • Support geologic and environmental analysis, including hydrogeology and geochemistry.
  • Interpret environmental sample results in relation to geological contexts.
  • Create visual representations of environmental data, including maps and cross-sections.
  • Contribute to report preparation for completed fieldwork.
  • Provide guidance to junior geologists or environmental scientists as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology or a related discipline with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement, balancing time between office and field locations.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring endurance and mobility in various weather conditions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in field settings.
