Job Overview

The Facilities Maintenance Manager serves as the primary liaison for all matters related to Mobile Equipment. This role involves overseeing the UAW mechanics employed by Aramark.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivates professional relationships with clients and efficiently manages service delivery within the designated area.

• Ensures compliance with safety protocols and reporting.

• Manages parts procurement, including monthly billing and reconciliation.

• Conducts inventory assessments, ensuring optimal utilization and control measures.

• Oversees asset management, including disposals, transfers, acquisitions, and modifications.

• Ensures compliance with preventive maintenance standards set by OEM/GM.

• Prioritizes and schedules work for all mechanics, including GM and third-party contractors.

• Implements and maintains workplace organization practices (5S).

• Actively engages in the ongoing business operations of the client, aligning with site goals and initiatives relevant to the assigned area.

• Adapts processes and resources to accommodate evolving client needs as directed by the Fleet Manager or Facility Manager.

Extended Responsibilities

• Operates within the Aramark framework as required by the Fleet Manager or Facility Manager to align processes and resources with changing client demands for the site and assigned area.

• Focuses on resource optimization, performance enhancement, and auditing measures.

• Communicates essential information and updates to the Fleet Manager, participating in meetings and site inspections as required.

• Generates all necessary reports for both internal and client requirements as mandated by the Fleet Manager or Facility Manager.

• Ensures adherence to the GM System, Best Practices, Safety Initiatives, and relevant legal regulations in the jurisdictions where Aramark operates.

• Performs additional duties as assigned or as necessary.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in maintenance management is required.
  • Preferred licenses for heating, piping, and cooling work (e.g., S-1 or S2).
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Familiarity with all regulatory compliance requirements is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities are necessary.
  • Experience with profit and loss (P&L) management is required.
  • Proficient understanding of preventive maintenance for building systems (e.g., boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC/R).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical abilities are required.
  • Proven time management skills, enabling the management of multiple client relationships and prioritization of tasks and resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Creative and adaptable demeanor to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
