Key Responsibilities

This is a temporary position for a duration of 89 days, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

  • Perform wet mopping of floors and staircases.
  • Utilize vacuum cleaning equipment effectively.
  • Maintain and polish furniture, fixtures, and other furnishings.
  • Ensure cleanliness of mirrors and both interior and exterior glass surfaces.
  • Thoroughly clean restrooms and replenish necessary supplies.
  • Spot clean walls to eliminate marks such as splashes around sinks and fingerprints near light switches.
  • Collect and transport waste materials to designated areas.
  • Identify and report items requiring repair.
  • Sweep and dust floors and stairways as needed.
  • Address small spills by wet mopping specific areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas and equipment.
  • Unclog toilets, urinals, and drains without disassembling fixtures.
  • Clear snow from entrances and apply ice melt as necessary.
  • Assist in coordinating and/or delegating tasks to others.

Essential Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English, with the ability to follow instructions.
  • A positive attitude and strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Capability to perform a variety of physical tasks, including pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • No restrictions on lifting capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage stress effectively on a daily basis.
