Ultrasound Technician FSED PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary

The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, collecting relevant information, and performing sonographic exams following established protocols. You will analyze image quality and process data as required, completing data sheets with pertinent patient information prior to forwarding to radiologists.

Requirements
  • Two to three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two years of experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work weekend and holiday shifts
