Key Responsibilities- Conduct ultrasound examinations to evaluate blood flow and vascular structures
- Recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow
- Adjust scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform
- Analyze sonographic findings to complete comprehensive exams and provide data for physician diagnosis
- Notify appropriate personnel of significant procedural findings or patient concerns
- Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing Program
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Registered Vascular Sonographer certification
