Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Carside To-Go Specialist to join our team at Potomac Family Dining Group. As a Carside To-Go Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our To-Go order guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take To-Go orders via phone, mobile app, or online, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Deliver food and drinks to guests' cars using Applebee's Carside Service, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Interact with guests, answering questions, and making suggestions regarding food and drink selection, adhering to the Carside script.
  • Relay orders to the service bar and kitchen via point-of-sale computerized register, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Anticipate guests' needs, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Present guest checks to each car, accepting payment, and making correct change or completing proper charge card transactions.
  • Complete all plate presentations per the To-Go recipes/plate presentation, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Participate in the cleaning, clearing, stocking, organizing, and resetting of Carside/To-Go areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist in general Front of House maintenance functions, including maintaining restrooms, light cleaning, and resetting the expo line.
  • May occasionally be scheduled to serve guests in a Host/Hostess or Server role, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience.

Requirements:

  • Friendly and engaging demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 18+ years old, with prior restaurant service experience preferred.
  • Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Bi-lingual experience a plus, with reliable transportation required.
  • High School Degree or GED preferred, with the ability to build relationships and work as a team player.
  • Ability to follow manager instructions and guidance, with excellent communication and behavioral skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Subject to wet floors and loud noises, outdoor conditions, and fast-paced environments.
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours, with a good sense of balance and ability to reach, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Must be able to frequently lift as much as 50 pounds, with the ability to transport to-go bags and beverages to cars up to 15 pounds up to 30 times per hour.
