Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Power Systems Study Senior Specialist to join our team at Pkaza. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for developing power studies for projects, collaborating with engineering and design staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute power studies for complex data center and mission-critical facilities projects
  • Collaborate with engineering and design staff to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
  • Conduct load flow studies, short circuit analysis, protection coordination, arc flash analysis, and transient stability analysis
  • Develop proposals, including project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Manage project design teams, forecasting resources, and coordinating with clients
  • Identify potential project scope changes and develop strategies to minimize impact
  • Perform QA/QC peer reviews for projects
  • Optimize workflow and deliverables by developing templates, standards, and automations
Requirements
  • 8-15 years of electrical engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar engineering degree
  • Licensed PE/EIT a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical topologies associated with mission-critical facilities
  • Experience designing electrical power systems for complex data center/mission-critical facilities
  • Experience with protective devices, relays, circuit breakers, and fuses
  • Understanding of ratings, capabilities, and conditions of various power system equipment
  • Knowledge of industry and safety standards related to power systems
  • Power system simulation software experience with ETAP, PSS/E, SKM, or Easy Power
  • MS Office Suite skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
