Job Title

A dynamic leader is needed to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Before and After School program at one of our elementary school locations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

About the Job

This full-time or part-time position offers a unique opportunity to grow with a reputable organization while making a positive impact in the community. As a Site Director, you will be responsible for supervising staff, planning daily programs, and implementing curriculum components that promote character development.

Responsibilities
  • Program Planning: Develop and implement daily program plans, ensuring alignment with NH Child Care Licensing regulations.
  • Staff Supervision: Mentor and train site staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Implement Character Development curriculum components, serving as a role model for Y core values.
  • Communication: Build strong relationships with school/administrative staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or Recreation (or equivalent).
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed childcare program, recreation program, or elementary school.
  • Certification as an educator by the Department of Education (optional).
