About the Job

MU Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Liaison to promote top-notch hospitality and customer service. As a key resource for patients and their families, you will bridge the gap between them and MU Health Care, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and assist in the resolution of complaints and grievances, ensuring adherence to patient rights, accreditation standards, and regulations.
  • Coordinate investigations and formal communications with patients, manage non-survey patient comments through the Patient Safety Network, and generate responses.
  • Serve as an expert resource on MUHC services, locations, and information for patients and family members.
  • Proactive rounding on public areas and units in hospitals and clinics, promoting positive relationships with patients and family members and ensuring the physical environments meet high standards.
  • Participate in and develop customer service and conflict resolution training for hospital and clinic staff.
  • Identify, lead, and participate in performance improvement projects that enrich interactions, simplify access, and ease frustrations of patients and family members.
