Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join our team at Michael Page. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and drive business growth in the renewable energy and waste sectors.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within your assigned territory. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and support customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, preferably within the renewable energy, environmental technology, or waste management sectors. A strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and waste digestion processes is essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
  • Market Development: Identify and prioritize target markets and industries for renewable energy and waste digestion solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that align with their sustainability goals.
  • Business Development: Prospect and qualify new leads, conduct presentations, and negotiate contracts to close sales.
  • Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions and support customer requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree: In Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience: Within the renewable energy, environmental technology, or waste management sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge: Of renewable energy technologies and waste digestion processes.
  • Excellent communication skills: With the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Travel requirements: Ability to travel within the territory as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in a relevant field, experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and knowledge of local regulations and incentives related to renewable energy and waste management in the Denver area are highly desirable.
