Exciting NP/FNP Opportunity at Fairfax Behavioral Health in Kirkland

Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NP/FNP to join our team in Kirkland. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of innovative treatment plans.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough medical assessments, initial H&Ps, follow-ups, and patient discharges.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both mental health and medical issues.
- Participate in treatment team meetings to contribute insights into the patient's medical condition(s), discuss treatment options, and ensure that the overall care plan is comprehensive and cohesive.
- Co-manage patients with complex medical comorbidities during their length of stay, alongside Psychiatrists, other mental health providers, and support staff.
- Provide medical education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications that may impact overall health.
- Provide medical consults as needed in the General Adult units, Mission Resiliency Program (military, veterans, etc.), and Detox/SUD units.
- NP degree from an accredited and recognized program required.
- Post graduate PMHNP certificate required.
- Current Washington APRN license in good standing.
- Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating providers.
- 3+ years of prior work experience in a clinical NP/PA role required (clinical rotations and preceptor hours not included).
- Salary range: $140,000-$180,000
- $10,000 Sign-On Bonus.
