About the Position

The Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our organization in advancing land conservation and stewardship in Oregon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve our mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the organization in developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve our mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, public and private community partners, and policymakers.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure resources for the organization.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Advocate for land conservation and stewardship in Oregon, working closely with local governments and agencies.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of related leadership experience, preferably in a membership organization, collaborative, or coalition setting.
  • Strong relationship-driven fundraising experience and a proven track record of securing resources.
  • Strong cultural competency and experience working with diverse partners, including Indigenous communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with local governments and agencies.
  • Fiscal management experience, including developing and managing budgets and analyzing financial statements.
