Role Summary:
The primary responsibility involves the thorough cleaning of government facilities, ensuring compliance with all service standards. The Janitorial Lead must possess a valid driver’s license to facilitate transportation of team members between locations. A polished, professional appearance is essential, along with the ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability. The employee will execute all janitorial tasks as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).


Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and adhere to daily work schedules.
* Procure necessary cleaning supplies.
* Familiarity with safety protocols and emergency contacts.
* Maintain daily and weekly activity logs.
* Operate vehicles safely, maintaining a satisfactory driving record.
* Efficiently clean restrooms, including urinals, sinks, toilets, and showers; replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet tissue; ensure cleanliness of stall doors and floors.
* Perform vacuuming of carpets and mats using appropriate equipment.
* Execute dust mopping and wet mopping across restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and hallways.
* Manage centralized waste disposal.
* Conduct detailed cleaning tasks, including the upkeep of entrance glass doors.
* Perform overhead dusting of air vents.
* Collaborate effectively with team members or work independently to meet daily objectives.
* Maintain an exemplary attendance record.

Preferred Experience:
Prior janitorial experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
* Driven by mission and core values, and a pleasure to collaborate with.
* Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
* Successfully pass drug screening and background checks.
* Meet security requirements for access.
* Authorized to work in the United States.
Special Skills and Abilities:
Interpersonal: Ability to connect with diverse clients and staff.
Written Communication: Basic writing skills for inventory logging.
Oral Communication: Proficiency in understanding English.
Equipment Proficiency: Capability to utilize vacuum and other cleaning tools as necessary.
Additional Requirements:
Mental Effort:
Ability to work autonomously while coordinating job activities effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and endure physically demanding tasks. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
Visual Effort:
Work environment is well-lit, requiring a standard level of visual engagement.
