We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Elementary Mathematics Education. This tenure-track position is an excellent opportunity for a scholar with expertise in mathematics education to contribute to our department's mission of advancing knowledge and improving educational outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses focused on mathematics education for grades PreK-6
- Conduct research and publish in top-tier journals related to mathematics education
- Collaborate with colleagues to pursue external funding opportunities
- Advise and mentor graduate students
- Engage in professional service to the department, university, and professional organizations
- Doctorate in Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a relevant field with a mathematics education focus
- Demonstrated professional experience working with elementary students
