Your Responsibilities

As a Lead Project Architect at PDR, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional interior design and architectural solutions.

You will oversee the creation of construction documentation, liaise with consultants and contractors, and manage construction administration.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Effectively understanding and communicating project deliverables.
- Actively participating in and contributing to the design process.
- Ensuring compliance with PDR documentation standards and internal protocols.
- Collaborating with project leads to develop construction documentation scope and production timelines.
- Creating intricate parametric architectural models and high-quality construction documents.
- Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to building codes.
- Leading documentation efforts on medium-complexity projects, including document reviews and resolution of field issues.
- Advising clients on construction modifications and their implications on timelines.

Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate drawing and code reviews, and coordinate consultant documentation.
- Manage communication with internal and external parties to ensure project alignment and success.
- Maintain open lines of communication within the team and with project leads.
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development through design reviews, networking opportunities, and new business initiatives.
- Participate in company events, including social gatherings and vendor presentations.

Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.

Experience:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in architecture or interior design.

Licensure:
- Registered Architect, Registered Interior Designer, or actively pursuing licensure.

Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Dynamo, Construction Cloud, and other design software.
- Strong expertise in parametric modeling, visualization, and graphic software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Active involvement in relevant professional organizations (e.g., IIDA, AIA).
