Hoefer Wysocki is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architectural staff, you will be responsible for managing, designing, and delivering successful building projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in the development of architectural designs, plans, and specifications, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, contractors, and owners, to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, providing exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of experience in architectural practice as a project architect on technical projects.
- Architectural registration required with current license.
- NCARB registration desired and LEED Green Associate Accreditation desired.
- Proficient in Revit, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
Preferred Qualifications
- Great leadership, decision-making, delegation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to provide high-quality, responsive design solutions and documentation for construction in a variety of styles.
- Self-motivated and with a strong work ethic, personally driven to consistently meet project design and performance goals.
- Ability to work independently as well as with various disciplines and types of people.
Physical Demands
The employee is required to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and to manipulate a keyboard or computer mouse. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision.
