About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate Direct Care Professional to provide supportive care to individuals with brain injuries in their homes. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, home support, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and using special equipment.
  • Provide home support including cooking meals, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
  • Transport residents to appointments, events, and activities.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and important information.
  • Support residents in achieving their personal goals.
  • Administer medications once trained.
  • Complete required training and certifications.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and follow instructions from the manager.

Requirements:

  • Kindness and a genuine desire to help others.
  • No educational requirements; we will provide on-the-job training.
  • A valid driver's license with at least 6 months of experience and a good driving record.
  • Physical ability to perform all tasks and ensure the safety of residents.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
  • A background check is required.

  • A competitive starting hourly rate of $18.00/hour, plus a $2.00 wage differential for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification.
