Direct Care Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate Direct Care Professional to provide supportive care to individuals with brain injuries in their homes. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, home support, and transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as eating, dressing, and using special equipment.
- Provide home support including cooking meals, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
- Transport residents to appointments, events, and activities.
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and important information.
- Support residents in achieving their personal goals.
- Administer medications once trained.
- Complete required training and certifications.
- Work collaboratively with the team and follow instructions from the manager.
Requirements:
- Kindness and a genuine desire to help others.
- No educational requirements; we will provide on-the-job training.
- A valid driver's license with at least 6 months of experience and a good driving record.
- Physical ability to perform all tasks and ensure the safety of residents.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
- A background check is required.

- A competitive starting hourly rate of $18.00/hour, plus a $2.00 wage differential for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification.
