We are in search of a motivated, compassionate, and team-oriented individual to help enhance our practice and meet the oral surgery needs of our community.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be instrumental in enhancing our patients' experiences by providing outstanding customer service primarily through telephone interactions, with some in-person responsibilities. Additionally, Patient Care Coordinators will undertake various patient care and administrative tasks as detailed below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and colleagues through phone and electronic communications.
  • Warmly welcome callers and promptly address their needs.
  • Schedule appointments across multiple practices in accordance with each doctor's preferences.
  • Effectively manage appointment scheduling to improve patient satisfaction, optimize provider time, and utilize examination and treatment rooms efficiently.
  • Contact patients referred for procedures through outbound calls.
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding post-operative care and billing matters.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with referring offices.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform additional relevant tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience is essential.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Familiarity with dental terminology.
  • A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
