Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician I to join our team at Bryan Health. As a Patient Care Technician I, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Collect and record patient information, including vital signs and medical history.
  • Assist with patient transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and patient lift devices.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Participate in hourly patient rounds to proactively address patient needs.
  • Assist with specimen collection and transportation to the laboratory.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Active Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
