About the Role

Rippling is a leading provider of cloud-based HR, IT, and Finance solutions for businesses. As a Benefits Marketplace Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our benefits marketplace, which connects brokers, employers, and employees with a wide range of benefits products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, operations, and product management, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, design, business development, and customer-facing functions, to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Marketplace Development: Own the core processes and partner programs that drive the success of our benefits marketplace, including contracting, data transfer, billing, and payments.
  2. Partner Management: Build and scale the processes that make it simple for clients to add new integrations and for us to add new partners and benefit types to the marketplace.
  3. Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to develop and launch new benefits products and services that meet the needs of our customers.
  4. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and revenue streams, to drive growth and expansion.
  5. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting to help monitor the health and success of our marketplace.
Requirements
  1. 6+ years of experience in fast-paced environments with a generalist background, including a mix of consulting, growth, and/or client-facing roles.
  2. Self-starter with a bias towards action.
  3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Basic technical and data skills - ideally you know your way around API documentation and are strong with SQL (or are willing to quickly become fluent in both).
  5. Helicopter pilot mentality - you can easily switch from high-level strategy and planning to detailed workflow mapping and reporting.
  6. Exceptional written and verbal communication and comfortable working in a highly cross-functional and externally facing role.
  7. Experience working with multi-sided marketplaces a plus.
