Main Job Functions:

As a Senior Environmental Land Planner, you will be responsible for conducting environmental reviews, obtaining discretionary permits and clearances required for the construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities on private, Federal, and State lands.

You will coordinate environmental studies for permit acquisition and work with environmental specialists to develop protection and mitigation measures.

Additionally, you will work with the line of business to implement permit conditions and ensure compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Environmental Land Planner to join our team.

Requirements include:

  • Master's Degree in Land Use/Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Environmental Management, Biology, or equivalent
  • 10 years' experience in Land Planning, Discretionary Permit Analysis, Environmental Analysis, Resource Management, or equivalent
  • Certificate from a Land Use/Environmental Planning program, AICP certification, or California PLS license
  • Applied knowledge and experience of CEQA/NEPA, CESA/ESA, and other resource laws, regulations, and permit triggers
