Pool Server Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pool Server to provide exceptional service to our guests in the Pool and/or Adult Pool area at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Micros systems to efficiently manage orders and provide accurate service.
  • Adhere to Resort safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including alcoholic beverages.
  • Notify management of any hazardous conditions or concerns.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, including serving food and beverage in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Serve alcohol safely and responsibly, checking identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Utilize appropriate verbiage in accordance with Forbes standards to communicate with guests.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak English fluently.
  • Proper order taking and communication skills are essential.
  • General knowledge of the Resort and its operations is preferred.
  • Must be of legal age according to State regulations to serve alcohol.
  • Knowledge of Forbes standards is a plus.
