Job Summary

As a key member of the BYD team, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for creating and executing processes to procure marketing activities, non-production materials, and services for the company's development and operational projects in the United States. This role requires close collaboration with legal, sales, and marketing teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships, including searching for and evaluating new vendors to meet the company's needs.
  • Track and manage different purchase demands from various departments to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to effectively manage handoffs of supply agreement management and ensure overall project success.
  • Responsible for purchase cost control, purchase budget, and quarterly financial statements to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Manage vendor qualification and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with company standards.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement management, with a strong understanding of the US purchase environment.
  • Track record of working with vendors to negotiate commercial and technical aspects of equipment supply agreements.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and ability to prioritize several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mandarin fluency is preferred.
