Job Overview

Dansources Technical Services has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Global Network Architecture Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per yearJob Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network engineering and design to support our government customer's global enterprise networks.

  • Develop and implement standard design approaches for service delivery, ensuring seamless integration into production environments.
  • Evaluate new technologies and capabilities in our private test lab, testing proposed changes to production networks and recreating troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Schedule maintenance windows for migrating user connections from legacy to modern infrastructure transition services with minimal impact on critical data flows.
  • Provide technical expertise to Operations engineers and technicians, supporting fault isolation and resolution, and developing innovative and scalable solutions.
  • Design secure network configurations that align with Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and enterprise policies, obtaining Authority to Operate (ATO) for new devices, software, and capabilities.
  • Supervise other network support specialists to plan, coordinate, and implement network services, ensuring efficient and effective team operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in network engineering and design, specifically in CAN/LAN architecture.
  • Expert knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF and BGP, and the ability to demonstrate this through briefings and documentation.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting standard routing and switching protocols in production networks.
