We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Dansources Technical Services. As a key member of our global enterprise networks team, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing network components and delivering tailored services to meet the unique requirements of our government customer's operational enterprise.

This exciting opportunity involves the complete overhaul of a global enterprise network, encompassing design, engineering, and transition phases. You will have the chance to contribute to the development of a contemporary service provider network architecture, working closely with our operations engineers and technicians.

Your primary focus will be on Campus Area Network/Local Area Network (CAN/LAN) services, but there is also an opportunity to learn and contribute to Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Networks (WANs).

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 16 years of experience in Network Engineering, including Tier3 or higher network operations and/or network design and implementation.
  • Previous responsibility for production network hardware configurations for Cisco, Brocade, and/or Juniper.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting standard routing protocols in a production network, such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) or Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP).
  • Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting standard switching and trunking protocols in a production network, such as Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), 802.1q, and port-channels.
