Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with program leadership to ensure effective psychiatric interventions.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and provide weekly consultations to patients.
  • Prescribe and monitor medications as needed, consulting with the treatment team and attending weekly meetings.
  • Develop and implement psychopharmacological interventions for psychiatric disorders.
  • Interface with families for consent and support of interventions.
  • Effectively communicate with insurance carriers and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to case conceptualization, treatment planning, and ongoing assessment of interventions.
  • Meet regularly with program leadership to discuss individual treatment progress.
  • Act as a representative of the treatment program, interacting with insurance companies, licensing bodies, and other external partners.
  • Document notes in our electronic medical record system.
  • Provide second opinion evaluations and assist with treatment planning.
  • Offer medical direction to the treatment team.
Requirements
  • Must be a qualified psychiatrist with experience in adolescent psychiatry if required.
  • Must be a graduate of an approved medical school and hold a current license in the state of practice.
  • Must be eligible for membership in the local branch of the State Medical Society.
