Key Responsibilities:

As a Performance Analysis Engineer, your role will involve:
  • Conducting thorough architectural investigations and performance trade-off analyses across different SoC components such as CPUs, I/O, interconnects, and memory controllers.
  • Performing workload characterization to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and proposing effective solutions.
  • Facilitating collaboration and consensus among architects and IP teams.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Over 10 years of experience in SoC performance modeling and analysis within the semiconductor sector.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a strong focus on computer architecture and microarchitecture.
  • In-depth understanding of general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, including processor pipelines, caches, and memory hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ for large-scale software development, along with familiarity in SystemC TLM and Python scripting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of articulating complex solutions effectively.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with interconnect micro-architecture design, including PCIe and CHI protocols.
  • Knowledge of workloads utilized for performance optimization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and requirements.
  • Experience with Unix, scripting, and version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion).

To: $369,380
