Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at NETZSCH Premier Technologies in Exton, PA. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling machines, equipment, and their subassemblies by following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assemble machines and sub-assemblies
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Identify and report faulty components or hazardous conditions
  • Troubleshoot issues with machines and parts
  • Test or assist in testing operation of completed product
  • Perform various tasks such as drilling, tapping, and reaming holes
  • Align components using a laser and straight edge
  • Perform welding, cutting, grinding, fabricating, and machining tasks as needed
  • Use hand and power tools, hoists, cranes, and forklifts
  • Build crates to ship machines and parts
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring and testing instruments
  • Provide documentation of tests on machines, assemblies, and parts
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Ability to cross-train and assist in other areas as needed
  • Previous experience working with hand and power tools
  • Previous experience performing similar assembly on industrial machinery
  • Strong attention to detail
