Job Summary

Noblis MSD is seeking a highly skilled Submarine Systems Engineer to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) in their mission to enable research, development, test, and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service, and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support testing and troubleshooting efforts for auxiliary machinery control systems, including propulsion controls, indicator drive units, and hotwell controls.
  • Develop, review, update, and execute test plans and procedures.
  • Evaluate technical information received from the Fleet, including Fleet messages and advisories.
  • Develop, review, update, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Provide engineering support for design, repair, installation, modification, maintenance, and operation of systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum 3 years of related experience, or High School Diploma and 9 years of related experience, or equivalent experience serving on a Nuclear Submarine.
  • Prior Navy Nuclear training required.
  • 25% travel required.
  • DoD Secret clearance desired; ability to obtain Secret clearance required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot challenging technical issues.
  • NAVSUP experience.
