Job Summary

The HR Director at McLaren USA is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provision of human resource services, policies, and programs for the subsidiary. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead the development and implementation of human resources practices and objectives that foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies to prevent and mediate disputes and grievances.
  • Design and implement processes and programs that establish a culture of employer of choice.
  • Provide consultative services to subsidiary leadership on HR issues, including re-organization, employee issues, and employment practices.
  • Drive and educate subsidiary leadership in the employee engagement process, monitoring progress and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Design and implement business-focused policies, processes, and procedures that align with subsidiary and MHC strategy.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Human Resources support.
  • Facilitate and lead large-scale multi-disciplinary teams, organizational projects, and educational programs.
  • In consultation with internal and external legal counsel, assist in preparation for litigation, contract negotiations, grievances, EEO, unemployment, and compliance hearings.
  • Responsible for the employee commitment process within the subsidiary and involved in employee commitment development initiatives system-wide.
  • Assist in the development and administration of the annual budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.
  • Five (5) years or progressively more responsibility in Human Resources.
  • Two (2) years of management experience, preferably in healthcare.

Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree in a related field of study, experience in the healthcare industry, and SPHR or PHR certification.
