Job Description

As a Senior Build Engineer at MyCareersFuture, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our end-to-end build and provisioning process. This role requires a strong understanding of infrastructure build requirements, standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and operate Red Hat Linux and Windows VM infrastructure, including installation, configuration, hardening, maintenance, patching, and security.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity management, and preventive/proactive support.
  • Provide system administration support and guidance for development teams on application configuration tasks.
  • Collaborate with design, planning, solution architect, application, and development teams to ensure alignment with infrastructure build requirements and standards.
  • Participate in technical discussions to share ideas and provide feedback on improving the Service Build Engineering team's optimization, automation, cost savings, technology adoption, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Intensive experience in supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux for JBOSS/WebSphere/WebLogic, Oracle DB.
  • Intensive experience in supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux in DMZ.
  • Professional understanding of networking related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows.
  • Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows.
  • Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation.
  • Hands-on experience supporting various infrastructure agents like NetBackup, BMC Patrol.
  • vSphere 5.x and 6.x experience.
  • Cross-team collaboration with storage, network, security, and application delivery.
  • Technical leadership quality to handle technical challenges and sensitive situations.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
