Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough inspections of incoming products to verify compliance with specifications, utilizing both visual assessments and measurement tests. Any discrepancies must be reported to the Warehouse Manager for further action.
2. Perform regular weekly inspections of inventory within the warehouse.
3. Execute weighing and labeling processes for all inspected shipments to accurately reflect product specifications and supplier details.
4. Maintain detailed documentation of inspection outcomes by completing necessary reports and logs.
5. Ensure proper classification of products by documenting and updating records accordingly.
6. Carry out daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures at each station before and after shifts, adhering to established protocols.
7. Keep meticulous records of all cleaning and sanitizing activities.
8. Conduct periodic quality control inspections of finished products and communicate findings to the Warehouse Manager.
9. Document and report results from periodic inspections through comprehensive reports and logs.
10. Uphold a safe working environment by following safety standards and legal regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- May involve repetitive motions.
- Capability to reach above shoulder height or below waist level, and lift as necessary for filing or storing materials.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds while employing proper lifting techniques.
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of boxes may be required.
Qualifications: To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are preferred:
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, exhibiting patience and flexibility.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $16.
