We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our Global Technology Services (GTS) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our AML Transaction Monitoring suite of applications.
Key Responsibilities- Drive testing modules across multiple platforms, including AML Transaction Monitoring.
- Participate in all agile meetings and coordinate with offshore/onshore teams.
- Work with users and developers to understand and develop functional and automation test scripts.
- Create test scenarios and implement functional test cases (automated and otherwise) that serve as acceptance test criteria for enhancements and new applications.
- Work closely with developers and quality assurance members to run test suites and research errors.
- Find ways to enhance the testing process with new tools, strategies, or techniques.
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues within the quality assurance environment and communicate that knowledge to a varied audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in delivering multiple versions of one or more applications.
- Bachelor's degree with concentration in Engineering, Business, or Technology preferred.
- Candidate should have 7+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Excellent understanding and hands-on experience in Python Automation/ETL/DWH/Web UI testing.
- Hands-on experience on Python, PySpark, and Analytical Functions and complex queries, SQL developer, and TOAD.
- Must have knowledge on Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Scala, Hive/Impala, and Data Bricks will be an added advantage.
- Experience on Big Data Testing will be an added advantage.
- Should have excellent knowledge in STLC process - include creating, maintaining, and executing automation/functional test plans, writing test scripts against software platforms, communicating test results, defect tracking, and participating in day-to-day QA activities.
- Experience in Financial domain is highly desirable (Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
- Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools - like JIRA, X-Ray.
- Should have good understanding of Agile methodology and Agile Ceremonies.
- Work with geographically distributed teams while maintaining highest standard in collaboration and communication across the QA/DEV and Business teams.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Person must be self-motivated, self-driven, own, and consider him/herself accountable for timely completion of QA deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving skills with great attention to details.
