Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Victaulic. As an OEM Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share in the Mid-States Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement a Sales Strategy: Create and execute a yearly business plan that aligns with the company's sales strategy and achieves market, product, and profitability targets.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and nurture long-standing relationships with key decision-makers, including owners, engineers, production managers, and sourcing professionals.
  • Account Development: Identify and develop target accounts across all disciplines, including owners, engineers, production managers, and supply chain channels.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a complete understanding of Victaulic products, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with region and division management to coordinate sales efforts and communicate activities to relevant personnel.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Previous sales experience selling value-added products/services, preferably in the commercial construction industry, PVF industry, or mechanical products.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to develop and nurture long-standing relationships.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel overnight as required by the position and territory, with a minimum of 60% overnight travel.
