Job Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator is essential in managing the execution of freight operations, nurturing and expanding relationships with carriers, and overseeing daily shipment activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance partnerships with carriers to establish a dependable and efficient transportation network.
  • Manage inbound and outbound communications effectively to maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Promote operational excellence by improving service delivery to both clients and carriers, ensuring smooth daily load operations.
  • Quickly address and resolve any issues to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
  • Proactively identify and manage challenges that may occur during transit, implementing effective solutions to uphold service quality.
  • Contribute to a vibrant and collaborative team environment.
  • Strategically grow business with existing carriers, aligning efforts with account development strategies to cultivate long-term partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, demonstrating a solid educational foundation in a relevant discipline.
  • Prior experience in sales, particularly within the truck brokerage or logistics field, is highly regarded.
  • Thorough understanding of truck brokerage operations, showcasing knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry.
  • A strong work ethic combined with a sense of urgency, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, taking initiative to resolve challenges and drive results.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interactions.

Physical Requirements:
