Job Summary

As a Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our retail stores. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on paint and coatings products, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, using a cash register and handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including paint and coatings products, and be able to make recommendations to customers
  • Assist customers in finding products and answering questions about store policies and procedures
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and welcoming store environment
  • Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store management to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in a paint and coatings environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
