About the RoleAs a Healthcare Customer Support Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for inbound calls, addressing customer inquiries related to prescription status, financial information, and medication delivery scheduling.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Schedule medication deliveries and process payments, ensuring accurate information is recorded in customer profiles.
- Route calls to appropriate staff members when necessary, ensuring prompt resolution of customer inquiries.
- Maintain detailed progress notes to keep other team members informed about the status of customer requests.
- Utilize management information systems to answer questions regarding refills, prescription status, insurance verification, and invoice requests.
- Collaborate with clinical teams (pharmacists and nurses) to address patient questions and concerns.
- Identify and report adverse events and product complaints to ensure patient safety.
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume call center environment, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications and experience working with management information systems.
- A keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Medical office experience or knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable.
Candidates must be willing to take a typing and customer service test.
