Position SummaryAn Aircraft Fueling Specialist is tasked with the fueling and servicing of aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of fueling equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing fueling and de-fueling operations with utmost safety and efficiency.
- Maintaining precise records of fuel transactions.
- Conducting de-icing procedures as necessary.
- Keeping fueling equipment in a clean and operational state.
- Ensuring accurate loading and balancing of fuel.
- Utilizing fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts for aircraft fueling.
Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe following tasks may be performed under varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to jet engine fumes, dust, or noise.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must possess the ability to:
- Stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
- Reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and communicate effectively.
- Regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Operate company vehicles safely.
- Perform basic mathematical functions related to weight, measurement, and volume.
- Read, write, and fluently communicate in English.
- Adhere to uniform and insignia requirements as established by the company.
- Report to work consistently and punctually.
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with fueling and de-fueling procedures for various aircraft, as well as de-icing and fueling protocols for ground equipment, is preferred.
- A valid state driver's license is mandatory.
- Successful completion of the company's PST program is required.
- Commercial Driver License may be necessary for specific locations.
