Position Summary
An Aircraft Refueling Specialist is tasked with the fueling and servicing of aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of fueling equipment.

  • Conduct fueling and de-fueling operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain precise records of fuel transactions.
  • Execute de-icing procedures as necessary.
  • Keep equipment in a clean and operational state.
  • Ensure accurate loading and balancing of fuel.
  • Utilize fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts for aircraft fueling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

The following tasks may be carried out in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to jet engine fumes, dust, or noise.


Essential Abilities:


Consistently stand, walk, use hands for handling or feeling; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and communicate effectively.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Operate company vehicles safely.
Perform basic mathematical functions related to weight, measurement, and volume.
Read, write, and fluently communicate in English.
Adhere to uniform and insignia requirements as established by the company.
Report to work consistently and punctually.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, an individual must effectively perform each essential job function.

A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; three (3) to six (6) months of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience is preferred.

Familiarity with fueling and de-fueling protocols for various aircraft, de-icing procedures, and fueling methods for ground equipment is advantageous.
A valid state driver's license is mandatory.
Successful completion of the company's PST program is required.
Commercial Driver License may be necessary for specific locations.
