We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Highway Maintenance Worker II: Medium Equipment Operator to join our team at the South Carolina State Gov. Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the removal of snow and ice from roadways and/or storm damage to ensure safe travel conditions.
- Install new roadway signs and be responsible for the replacement of existing signs to maintain a clear and visible signage system.
- Inspect signs for serviceability and safety to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Complete required forms and documents to maintain accurate sign inventory and track maintenance activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
